UNROLL,UNFURL

Unroll, Unfurl was a large scale digital trompe l'oeil projection that was commissioned by the Queensland University of Technology to coincide with the opening of their large-scale creative performance and exhibition space "The BLOCK".  This work drew from previous architecture that existed in the space, and tells a simple story of the unwrapping of the architecture.  The work experimented with the use of environmental shadows, re-lighting and reflection mapping of imagery captured and stitched together from HDI sources, gathered on location to enhance the feeling of presence and illusion in the animated image.
