AUSTRALIAN EXPO PAVILION - VIRTUAL REEF

This project was to design and document the installation of a showpiece pavilion for the World Expo in Beijing in 2008.  The design utilized a large-scale formatted projection, with anamorphic facets that sought to reflect and showcase the shimmering beauty of the Great Barrier reef.  The design incorporated floating touch enabled screens, proximity detection and near field communication.  This project was ultimately not built, however, but it did lead to more development work that ultimately led to the creation of Queensland University of Technology's "CUBE".
